Winteroud's Chronicles: The Science Fiction Art of Rene Aigner

In my trips Chronicling the multiverse, I have discovered many artists. On Earth, one of my favorites is René Aigner. Born in 1989 in Munich, Germany. Rene now works as a freelanmce illustrator and concept artist. He's been involved with the development of video games in capacities ranging from concept artist to production artist and has painted a variety of covers for books. He is also studying psychology and English linguistics at the Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich.

Using a wide variety of technique depending on the subject matter and aim; for Life Paintings he usually starts with linework, analyzing and construction the form then proceeds to paint over the lines, observing carefully both value as well as colour variation. For clients whatever means necessary to work efficiently- textures, custom brushes, photos and sometimes 3D-mockups  painted over.
